Investigation on Applicability of Abrasion Acceleration Machine for Actual Building Floors

Abstract

In this study, applicability of abrasion acceleration machine developed in previous study for actual building oor was investigated. We chose as research objects 3 oor materials. At rst, changing slip resistance of these oors by daily use was measured. Next, changing slip resistance of test specimens made of the same oors was also measured. Finally, relationships between both results were investigated, and we revealed applicability of abrasion acceleration machine developed in previous study for actual building oor. In addition, we obtained data for predicting oor life-time form a viewpoint of slip resistance.
