“…Among traditional renewable sources, wind power plants (WPPs) have been widely used in several countries, as in Brazil, where major part of the Northeast region electric power demand has been supplied by wind turbines. It has boosted researches on protection, electromagnetic transients, control, and power electronics in the presence of WPPs (Chavez et al, 2019;Costa et al, 2019;Blaabjerg and Ma, 2013).
