Abstract:In magnesium alloys with aluminum as an alloying component, zirconium loses its grain refinement effect as a grain refiner. Instead of zirconium, Mg3N2 can be used, and promising results have already been obtained. However, the duration of action of Mg3N2 has not been elucidated yet.
