Investigation the effect of dopant Te on CdSe thin films deposited by RF magnetron sputtering method

Abstract: CdSe and CdSe:Te thin films were grown on glass substrates by RF magnetron sputtering. The doping percentage of Tellurium (Te) in CdSe was 7% for the CdSe:Te thin film. The microscopic images of the films were found to be uniform and homogeneous in nature with a uniform grain and no cracks, and the grain size of CdSe was higher than CdSe:Te thin film. CdSe:Te thin film shows a higher absorption coefficient compared to CdSe in the visible region. The Energy band gaps were found to be 2.01 and 1.73 eV for CdSe a… Show more

“…Energies of electronic levels of organic dyes are significant parameters describing organic materials used in optoelectronic devices. CV has been extensively used in the representation of organic dyes [63]. Figure 12 depicts CV for 0.001 M SnNC dye in CH 3 CN solution with 0.1 M TBAP supporting electrolyte at Pt electrode, with a potential scan between −1.8 V and +2.0 V versus Ag/AgCl with a scan rate of 100 mV s −1 .…”

“…The optical power meter can be used to measure the transmittance to control the polishing depth, in order to fabricate the curling pot shaped optical fiber [28]. Using chemical vapor deposition (CVD) [29] or magnetron sputtering [30], deposit a 50 nm thick gold film on the polished surface. Cure PDMS on the surface of the gold film in the temperature detection channel.…”
