The present study investigates the impact of temperature, on the returns of the Carbon Index, otherwise called BSE GREENEX in India. The study employed the secondary data of temperature in five sample cities (Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Mumbai), and the BSE GREENEX in India. Statistical tools like Descriptive Statistics, Unit Root, OLS Regression Test, and Granger Causality Test, were used. This study would be useful for the investors to make green investment in India.

Based on institutional theory, legitimacy theory and signaling theory, this article uses the difference-in-differences (DID) model to investigate the influence of the Guidance on Building a Green Financial System jointly issued by the People’s Bank of China (PBC) and six other ministries on ESG disclosure of A-share listed companies in the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) from 2014 to 2018. The results suggest that the publication of the Guidance positively contributes to the ESG disclosure quality (ESGdq) of listed companies. Further analysis shows that the positive effect of the Guidance on ESGdq is greater for listed companies in heavily polluting industries, state-owned and in regions with higher levels of economic development. Conclusions obtained through our research enrich the economic consequences of green finance policy, provide practical implications for enhancing corporate ESG disclosure, integrating ESG concepts into corporate strategies and governance systems.

In recent years, field of behavioral finance has gained increasing attention, with numerous studies investigating impact of various factors on investors' decision-making. However, there remains a critical gap in literature when it comes to a comprehensive understanding of the factors that influence retail investors' decision-making. This gap presents a chance for further research to explore factors that affect retail investors' decision-making, particularly in developing nations like Pakistan. The study examines both behavioral and external factors that impact the financial decision-making of retail investors in Pakistan. The research includes a sample of retail investors who invest in the Pakistan stock market, and data is collected using the simple random sampling technique. 1000+ questionnaire were distributed & 545 responses were received. The researcher used Smart-PLS for the purpose to analyze both measurement model and structural model. Results reveal that all exogenous variables have a significant influence financial decisions of retail investors in Pakistan stock market. Results hold significant implications & limitations for behavioral finance.
