Involvement of a flavoprotein, acetohydroxyacid synthase, in growth and riboflavin production in riboflavin-overproducing Ashbya gossypii mutant

Abstract: Background Previously, we isolated a riboflavin-overproducing Ashbya gossypii mutant (MT strain) and discovered some mutations in genes encoding flavoproteins.
