Abstract:Background
Surgical site infection (SSI) is a common complication following orthopedic implantation. We developed an iodine coating for titanium implants to reduce implant-related infectionsand conducted a prospective clinical study to evaluate the efficacy and potential drawbacks of iodine-coated implants.
