Ionic adsorption energies. Part 1.—Adsorption by silica from some electrolyte solutions

Abstract: The adsorption of ions from electrolyte solutions by silica has been studied using a conductimetric technique. The results obtained have been used together with electrokinetic data to calculate the energies of adsorption of the individual ions into the fixed part of the double layer.
