Detection of the color of the desired object and its automated generation of the same will be very important in all walks of life. Various types of color detection and mixing strategies are found in the literature. Many industries and research organizations aim to design a color mixing system to increase efficiency and productivity and minimize human efforts. This paper presents the design of fully automated color recognition and regeneration of an object's color even remotely. The prototype is versatile in the facilities it provides. It has a facility to manually enter the required color, detect the color of an object through a sensor, detect the color of an object through its image, and generate the required color. Further, color sensing and generation are controlled remotely through IoT using a mobile app. To meet the real-time constraints and parallel execution, the FreeRTOS is employed in the prototype. The prototype is built using cost-effective Arduino-based hardware and tested with multiple color sensing and generation methods. The results suggest that the prototype is suggestive and can be made as a working model with minor enhancements.
