Abstract:Ipomoea laxiflora, a species usually found in northern India and Deccan peninsula was collected from Ahwa of Dangs district (Western Ghats) and Lafni & Munjka villages of Rajkot district (semiarid region) of Gujarat state for the first time. A detailed description, distribution, conservation status, and photographs are provided to facilitate the identity of I. laxiflora in the field.
