A series of new 1:1 and 1:2 adducts of Bis(morpholinedithiocarbamato)copper(II) with nitrogen and oxygen donors with general formula [Cu(morphdtc) 2 L] and [Cu(morphdtc) 2 L 2 ] respectively (where L= 2-ethylpyridine, 2, 4, 6-collidine, dimethylsulphoxide and hexamethylphosphoramide) have been synthesized. The addition complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, conductivity measurements, magnetic susceptibility measurements, TGA/DTA, infrared and electronic spectral studies. These studies suggest that 1:1 adducts are paramagnetic and may be assigned square pyramidal structure while 1:2 adducts are paramagnetic in nature and have a distorted octahedral structure. Antifungal activity of some adducts have been carried out against the fungal strain Sclerotium rolfsii.
