The paper discusses some problems of postgraduate education development at the present stage. The authors argue for the necessity to introduce psychological and pedagogical knowledge into postgraduate education programs as well as into professional development programs at a more extensive level. It is offered to practice certain forms of psychological and pedagogical work within the framework of professional development programs for teachers. Recommendations are also given on students' psychological characteristics that should be taken into account. The authors offer to include the creativity development training across the curriculum, which will involve the knowledge of creative psychology; furthermore, it is offered to develop a similar program for teaching staff, since appropriate psychological and pedagogical skills will optimize the joint work of a teacher and a postgraduate student on solving various research problems.
