Irinotecan-based regimens for recurrent glioblastoma multiform: a systematic review

Abstract: This systematic review aims to assess irinotecan-based salvage regimens for patients with recurrent glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) beyond first line treatment. Eligible trials were identified using databases search and 25 studies were included in the final analysis. Among the 25 studies, PFS-6 rate was reported in 15 studies and it ranged from 16% to 63%.
