Abstract:Contamination of groundwater with heavy metals may have harmful effects on the lives of people who depend on groundwater for drinking and other life purposes. Several techniques were used to remove the pollutants from the water, such as chemical precipitation, ion exchange, coagulation, electrochemical treatment, and adsorption.
