Abstract:Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and cardiovascular disease (CVD) have a syndemic relationship with shared risk factors and complex interplay between genetic, environmental, socioeconomic, and pathophysiological mechanisms. CVD is among the most common comorbidities in patients with COPD and vice versa.
