Abstract:Background: Patients with COVID-19 may develop several electrolyte imbalances that can cause multiple clinical complications. Low serum phosphorous level usually leads to a decreased muscle ATP synthesis which may cause diaphragmatic or other kinds of respiratory muscle weakness.
