The number of European companies founded in the Czech Republic can be described as the Czech puzzle, according to the paper “The Czech Societas Europaea Puzzle” by Horst Eidenmüller and Jan Lasák. They are concerned with the question why two thirds of all European companies from all countries of the European Economic Area (EEA) are established in the Czech Republic.
