When viewed from year to year, smoking behavior is increasing, not least in adolescent boys. Cigarette advertisements that appear in various media with a creative appearance are one of the causes of increasing smoking behavior in adolescents. Creative advertising displays can lure adolescent boys to buy and consume cigarettes. This literature study aims to determine the relationship between the influence of cigarette advertising on smoking behavior in adolescent boys. Literature study from 2010-2021 in Indonesian and English. Data obtained from PubMed, ProQuest Google Scholar, and Garuda, with the keywords smoking behavior, cigarette advertising, male youth, smoking behavior, boy, adolescent, tobacco advertising. In this literature study, there are 13 (thirteen) articles that comply with the inclusion and exclusion criteria The results of the article review, there is an impact of cigarette advertising both offline and online on increased adolescent boy's smoking behavior. There is a significant influence of cigarette advertisements on adolescent boy's smoking behavior. Therefore, there is a need for cooperation and commitment between all parties, from the government, cigarette manufacturers, to the community in strengthening, implementing, and supervising regulations governing cigarette advertising.
