Islamic Education in Nigeria

Abstract: This chapter traces the origins, forms, structure, forms, stages, and classifications of Islamic education vis-à-vis the traditions of Qurʾānic, Islamic, and Ajami knowledge systems in Nigeria during the precolonial, colonial, and postcolonial periods.
