Isobaric Vapor–Liquid Equilibrium Measurements for 1-Methoxy-2-propanol + 1,4-Butanediol, N,N-Dimethylformamide, and N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone at 101.3 kPa
Abstract:Three
candidate entrainers, 1,4-butanediol, N,N-dimethylformamide, and N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone,
were proposed to separate the azeotrope of 1-methoxy-2-propanol and
water. The isobaric vapor–liquid equilibrium data for 1-methoxy-2-propanol
+ 1,4-butanediol, 1-methoxy-2-propanol + N,N-dimethylformamide, and 1-methoxy-2-propanol + N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone were measured at 101.3 kPa. All of
the data passed the Fredenslund, Van Ness, and pure component consistency
tests. The binary parameters were regressed by the non… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
