This rotation anomaly results in type I dextrogastria, if it is associated with failure of the complete descent of the foregut from the chest, type II dextrogastria will occur [2,5], In the review of the English written literature, there are few reported cases of dextrogastria [4,7,8] and isolated dextrogastria of either type [2,3,5,9,10].
