Abstract:The main study focuses on the extraction of chitosan from chitin isolated from the exoskeleton of a squid pen and the synthesis of silver chitosan nanoparticles. Chitosan is an amino polysaccharide prepared by processing the squid pen which involves demineralization, deproteinization, and deacetylation.
