Isolation and Structure Identification of Two New Derivatives of the Mycotoxin Fusaro-chromenone Produced by Fusarium equiseti

Abstract: Two new chromone derivatives, 2,2-dimethyl-5-amino-6-(4'-hydroxylbutyryl)- 4-chromone [2] and 2,2-dimethyl-5-amino-6-(2'E-ene-4'-hydroxylbutyryl)- 4-chromone [4], were isolated from rice cultures of Fusarium equiseti. Their structures were deduced from chemical and spectral data.
