Abstract: Centrapalus pauciflorus (Willd.) H. Rob. (Astereaceae, synonym: Vernonia pauciflora) is a perennial plant native to West, East, Central and Southern Africa. It is used for medicinal purposes in the treatment of diabetes, chest pain, external injury, and stomach problems [1][2][3].
