Abstract:In this research, two cycloartane-type saponins, including 3β-O-(2′-O-β-Dglucopyranosyl-β-D-xylopyranosyl)-6α,16β,25-trihydroxy-(20R,24S-epoxy) cycloartane and 3β-O-(2′-O-acetyl-β-D-xylopyranosyl)-6α-O-β-Dglucopyranosyl-16β,25-dihydroxy-(20R,24S-epoxy)cycloartane were isolated from polar soluble fraction of the radix astragali membranacei.
