Abstract: Background Grey mould is an important plant disease worldwide, caused by Botrytis cinerea ,resulting in serious economic loss. Wuyiencin, a low toxicity, high efficiency, and broad-spectrum agricultural antibiotic, has been demonstrated effectiveness against B. cinerea.
