Abstract: This study was carried out to determine the change of the olive fruit fly (Bactrocera oleae (Gmelin)) population in olive variety named Memecik in organic and conventional orchards in İzmir. For this purpose a total of six olive gardens, three organic and three conventional, were selected in Dikili, Seferihisar and Torbalı.
