Job Satisfaction Among Substance Abuse Prevention Personnel

Abstract: This study of military substance abuse prevention personnel examined the relationship of job satisfaction with perceived importance to unit mission and frequency of performance vis-a-vis five prevention duties. Findings indicated a positive association between job satisfaction and perceived importance for all five duties. Results suggest a conditional positive relationship between performance frequency and job satisfaction only for duties involving one-to-one interaction.
