Journal Club in Post-Graduate Training

Abstract: Journal clubs have been used as a teaching format in postgraduate medical education for over 100 years. A journal club can be defined as a group of individuals who regularly meet to discuss articles on current medical literature. Since the first journal club, the aims and methodology of journal clubs have changed. In this article, literature on developing and running a successful journal club was reviewed.
