Abstract: Cet article met en évidence les modes de formation et de transformations de la profession de journaliste de presse écrite, en Côte d’Ivoire, depuis la brève parution du premier journal créé par des Africains, en 1935, jusqu’à l’émergence, en 1964, du quotidien national Fraternité-Matin.
