Abstract:Background
Juvenile Idiopathic Inflammatory Myopathy (JIIM) is a rare autoimmune condition of which Juvenile Dermatomyositis (JDM) is the most common subtype. To this date there has been no published data focusing on this condition in Trinidad nor the English-speaking Caribbean.
