Terna plants are used by Indonesians as raw materials for herbal and traditional medicine, including Phyllantus niruri L. and Phyllantus urinaria L. Therefore, this study aimed to explore, analyze and compile the activities and potential of Phyllantus niruri L. and Phyllantus urinaria L. as agents of hepatitis B virus (HBV) inhibitors using a narrative review approach. It was conducted based on the Scale for the Assessment of Narrative Review Articles (SANRA) by establishing inclusion and exclusion criteria. The study selected and reviewed 15 out of 38 articles. The Phyllantus genus is a group of seasonal herbs containing bioactive compounds and activity as HBV Inhibitors. The community of Kemlaten village has a habit of using wild plants as food and medicine. The purpose of this study was to describe the types of wild plants used by the Kemlaten village community, Parengan District, as food and medicine and as well as their morphology. This quantitative descriptive study was conducted in March-April 2022 in the Kemlaten village area. The results of the study showed that there were 25 species of wild plants used as food and medicine by the Kemlaten villagers. Of the 25 wild plant species, 32% are used as food and 68% as medicine. The results of the morphological analysis of wild plants used as food and medicine by the villagers of Kemlaten are dominated by single-leaf plants and woody stems. The morphology of these wild plants differs from one another according to the type or family of these wild plants.

Kalangkala (Litsea angulata BI) merupakan salah satu spesies dari genus Litsea dan tergolong dalam keluarga Lauraceae. Sebagian masyarakat Kalimantan Selatan telah menggunakan tumbuhan Kalangkala dalam beragam pengobatan tradisional, seperti bagian kulit batangnya yang secara empiris berkhasiat untuk anti iritan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan data ilmiah mengenai gambaran farmakognostik secara kualitatif dengan beberapa tahapan pemeriksaan organoleptik, makroskopik, mikroskopik, ekstraksi, dan skrining fitokimia. Pada pemeriksaan organoleptik kulit batang Kalangkala segar yaitu berwarna hijau, terasa agak pahit, dan bau khas lemah. Sementara serbuk simplisianya berwarna cokelat muda, rasa pahit agak kelat, dan berbau khas agak menyengat. Hasil pemeriksaan makroskopik kulit batang Kalangkala berbentuk tipis dan lunak, ketebalannya sekitar ± 3 mm, tekstur permukaan luar kulit batang Kalangkala memiliki tipe halus namun agak kasap dan bagian permukaan dalam teraba licin juga berlendir. Pada pemeriksaan mikroskopik terdapat epidermis, vakuola, kloroplas, sel batu, hablur kalsium oksalat, serat lumen, dan jaringan gabus. Ekstrak diperoleh dari maserasi simplisia menggunakan pelarut etanol 70%. Hasil skrining fitokimia menunjukkan bahwa serbuk simplisia dan ekstrak kental kulit batang Kalangkala mengandung metabolit sekunder berupa alkaloid, flavonoid, tanin, dan saponin
