Kajian Historis Kepercayaan Danyang Telaga Rambut Monte Pada Masyarakat Desa Krisik Blitar

Abstract

Danyang Rambut Monte is believed to be a subtle spirit, having an important role in eliminating negativity in society. The existence of Danyang in Telaga Rambut Monte is associated with the folklore that developed in the community of Krisik Village, Blitar Regency. Folklore and those passed down from generation to generation are associated with calamity. The purpose of this study was to examine the history of Danyang in Telaga Rambut Monte in terms of the folklore that developed in the community. This research uses the historical method which is based on four main stages, namely, heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The results showed that the history of Danyang was formed from oral tradition. Incarnated into a system of controlling social norms to form a ritual system. Meanings values Danyang ritual performed as a form of rescue (salvation) and order (cosmos) to the ecology in Telaga Hair Monte. Historically, this research is able to reveal phenomena or events based on real events regarding the folklore that developed at Telaga Rambut Monte.
