Kaposi's Sarcoma in Recipients of Renal Transplants

Abstract: Two cases of Kaposi's (KS) sarcoma developing in renal transplant recipients are presented. One patient, in whom the disease was limited to skin and oropharynx, responded dramatically to reduction of immunosuppressive therapy and is alive and well 22 months following diagnosis. The second patient, who had more widespread skin involvement, died three months after diagnosis.
