Abstract:Air embolism is a rare clinical entity that must be well recognized with high morbidity and mortality rates. Sensitive early diagnosis methods are available for air embolism, but these methods are not always easy to reach. With the detection of venous air embolism, mortality and morbidity can be reduced by rapid aspiration of air and concomitant treatment.
