Karakteristik Batupasir dan Provenance Formasi Peneta Daerah Tambang Tinggi dan Sekitarnya, Kabupaten Sarolangun, Jambi

Abstract: Formasi Peneta terbentuk di Cekungan Sumatra Selatan bagian tengah, tepatnya bagian busur depan. Formasi ini terendapkan akibat adanya proses subduksi fragmen Woyla Arc dengan West Sumatra Block pada zaman Kapur, sehingga salah satunya membentuk batuan sedimen klastik yakni batupasir.
