Abstract:The genus Hyphoderma is one of the most important corticioid fungi worldwide, which causes white rot in wood and plays an important role in forest ecosystems and carbon cycle. In this study, three new wood-inhabiting fungal species, H. marginatum, H. tropicum and H. yunnanense are proposed based on a combination of the morphological and molecular evidence.
