Keeping a weather eye on prediction markets: The influence of environmental conditions on forecasting accuracy

Abstract: Prediction markets are increasingly being embraced as a mechanism for eliciting and aggregating dispersed information and providing a means of deriving probabilistic forecasts of future uncertain events.
