Kefir treatment ameliorates dextran sulfate sodium-induced colitis in rats

Abstract: Kefir reduces the clinical DAI and histologic colitis scores in a DSS-induced colitis model, possibly via reduction of MPO, TNF-α, and iNOS levels.
