The name of the worship place is closely related to history, ideology, power, and society. Naming a worship place is a symbol of how power is represented through text in public spaces. This study aims to look at an environmental print by investigating the performance of religions in Malang, Indonesia, through the use of language in the names of worship places. Data was taken through photography totaling 157 names of worship places including mosques, churches, Buddhist temples, Hindu temples, and Chinese temples. Linguistic landscape analysis was carried out to investigate information and symbolic functions. The results show that writing the name of a place of worship involves seven languages, namely Bahasa Indonesia, Arabic, English, Javanese, Sanskrit, Dutch, and Chinese. Monolingual, bilingual, and multilingual forms emerge with Bahasa Indonesia's involvement in all patterns. These findings indicate that Bahasa Indonesia has a high level of language competence in society, in addition to language policy, power, and prestige. Bahasa Indonesian is used in all places of worship. It is also found in English. These two languages combine to support the existence of religious ideologies in the region. Other languages are only able to characterize religious and ethnic identities.

Petamburan is a sub-district of Jakarta, Indonesia’s capital city, and it has been a center of attention in Indonesia because of the growth and movement of the Islamic Front Defenders (Front Pembela Islam: FPI) within it. Before the FPI was officially banned by the Indonesian government on December 30, 2020, all of its activities and controversies performed in the name of Islam and its leader had become a main attraction for Indonesia’s mainstream media. This impacts Petamburan, which is described as a conflict-prone area in terms of social and religious factors. However, the image of Petamburan from the mass media does not describe the depth of its social reality. This research proposed a core hypothesis that the Petamburan people have deep riches of social harmony in terms of religion, race, and social factors. This study used a social interaction approach and analysis that focused on interactions in the actual public spheres in Petamburan. The final result was a picture of social and religious tolerance from the wide social diversity in the Petamburan community as a form of harmonious and inclusive social life in Indonesia. The Exploration of Alpha Cellulose in Kapok Fruit as Raw Material for Rocket Propellant Production

Rocket propellant is an essential part of weapons systems whose raw materials are largely composed of alpha-cellulose. These chemical compounds can be obtained in a variety of plants and animals, including kapok plants. The objective of this study was to explore the alpha cellulose derived from kapok fruit with a purity level above 90% and meets the qualification as a rocket propellant. Extraction, digestion, and purification were performed to know the presence of alpha cellulose and its quantity. Type Expert MPDn of Philips X-ray diffractometer device according to Indonesian Industrial Standard (SII) was used I this study. Based on the result, it was known that the yield amount of 100 g sample extraction was 28,20g-48,57g with kappa number of 23,63-28,17. The purity level of alpha cellulose and100 g yield of samples obtained was 90.00%-96.89% with the yield of 26.19g-46.67g. The identification of alpha-cellulose in the fiber, center, and peel of kapok fruitmet the specifications as a raw material for propellant and met the standards to support the defence industry to produce nitrocellulose as the main material of rocket propellant.
