“…Keratoacanthomas have been observed on areas of severe atopic eczema, drug eruptions, miliaria, erythema multiforme, radiodermatitis, weather‐beaten skin, sunburn, xeroderma pigmentosum, folliculitis, stasis dermatitis, insect and tick bites, acne conglobata, lichen simplex chronicus, hypertrophic lichen planus, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, discoid lupus erythematosus, nevus sebaceous of Jadassohn, linear epidermal nevus, split skin graft donor site, healing herpes zoster sites, pneumococcal and smallpox vaccination sites, nitrogen mustard patch test sites, arterial puncture for measurement of blood gases, surgical scars and thermal burns, 2–7 however, it has never before been reported as manifesting on the skin lesions of pseudoxanthoma elasticum.…”
