Abstract:Ketamine, a dissociative anaesthetic drug, acts on the central nervous system (CNS) primarily through antagonism of the n-methyl-d-aspartate (NMDA) receptor.[1] Methods of administration include intravenous, intramuscular, snorting, and smoking.
