Ki-67 Labeling Index as a Marker of Malignancy in Ocular Surface Neoplasms

Abstract: These results suggest that Ki-67 LI may be a sensitive marker for ocular malignant tumor grading.

“…One study compared tissue specimens obtained from SCC, CIN, and non-CIN (pterygium) lesions, revealed that Ki-67 proliferative index (Ki-67 PI) was significantly higher in SCC and CIN than in pterygium.
