Abstract: Background Diabetic glomerulopathy may begin in childhood, but clinical kidney disease ascribable to this is uncommon in children with type 1 (insulin dependent) diabetes mellitus. Methods We reviewed our experience of kidney biopsies in children with type 1 diabetes mellitus.
