Abstract:Kidney Transplantation is universally recognized as the best treatment option for patients with kidney failure. The first successful kidney transplant in India was done on 2nd Feb 1971 at Christian Medical College (CMC) Vellore by Dr. Mohan Rao and Dr. K. V.
