Abstract:SummaryCystic echinococcosis is one of the most important helminthozoonosis both in Turkey and all around world. Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) amplification of mitochondrial 12S rRNA (mt-12S rRNA) and small subunit ribosomal RNA (rrnS) genes were used for molecular characterization of 28 isolates of Echinococcus granulosus obtained from 19 sheep in Kilis province.
