Abstract

Concrete waste generated from construction and demolition is a major problem generated in large quantities. The use of waste concrete as a substitute for conventional aggregate materials is a way to reduce waste generated from construction and sample testing and reduce exploration of natural materials, which have an impact on the environment and damage natural. Waste concrete can be recycled and can be used for various purposes. The use of coarse aggregate ranges from 70 to 80% in concrete mixes so the reuse of recycled concrete coarse aggregate has been widely reported, but few studies have focused on recycling and extracting value from concrete grains. The laboratory test method used several parameters to determine the physical properties of the concrete mixture and the characteristics of the compressive strength of cube concrete 150 mm x 150 mm x 150 mm with a sample size of 12 samples for 0%, and 12 samples for 100% recycled aggregate. The compressive strength of concrete was reviewed 3 and 28 days after treatment according to SNI. The compressive strength of recycled concrete aggregates increased by 11.54% at the age of 3 days and decreased by 27.64% at the age of 28 days.
