Kinetic Monte Carlo Modelling of Organic Photovoltaic Devices

Abstract: Cover page: A 3D view of an organic solar cell. The middle layer represents a blend of donor and acceptor where excitons (Coulombically bounded electron and hole pairs) are created upon light excitation. Through modelling it is possible to study the movement of these exciton (red lines) starting from their creation till their extraction at the respective electrode. The cover image was designed by Tanvi Upreti.
