Kinetics of vibrational exchange in two-component gaseous mixtures in the presence of a resonant laser radiation field

Abstract

We derive up to second order the magnitude and direction of the phase-mismatch vector in parametric image amplification. This general analytical calculation is shown to be in agreement with our previous numerical studies of the image resolution at degeneracy.
