Kinetochore: Structure, Function and Evolution

Abstract: Duplicated eukaryotic chromosomes are segregated into daughter cells through cell division. Faithful chromosome segregation depends on kinetochores, which are specialized macromolecular structures built upon centromeric chromatin.
